Concept, shoot, and edit
The challenge
The only camera available was a Canon 6D — a stills camera, not built for video work. No professional lighting kit, no crew, no studio. Just household lights, diffusion paper, and a coffee jar.
The approach
The goal was never to disguise the limitations — it was to design around them. Using household lighting shaped and softened heavily with diffusion paper, I built a controlled, moody lighting setup that could pass for a proper studio shoot. The framing and pacing were built deliberately to match the rhythm of an actual FMCG commercial — close, sensory shots designed to feel premium rather than improvised.
