Hotel Mumbai — Official Trailer Edit

Hotel Mumbai is built around one of the most sensitive and viscerally documented events in recent Indian history — the 2008 Taj Hotel attacks. The trailer had to carry the weight of that material while functioning as a piece of cinema in its own right. Tone, pacing, and restraint weren't optional — they were the entire job.

The challenge

The original delivery timeline was three weeks. Four days into the edit, the client called and moved the deadline to the following morning. What remained of the timeline — over two weeks of scheduled work, collapsed overnight.

What was delivered

A complete first draft, delivered on time. The cut was reviewed, signed off on without changes, and submitted directly to the client. The client returned with minor notes only. The draft was approved.

This project is in our portfolio not because the circumstances were ideal — but because they weren't, and the output held up anyway.
